Foods to Avoid During Monsoon

Ayurveda advises against consuming fried and oily foods during the monsoon, as they can be heavy on digestion and lead to sluggishness. Similarly, raw salads and leafy greens should be avoided due to the higher likelihood of contamination and waterborne pathogens. Sour and fermented foods, such as pickles and curd, may also disturb the body's balance during this season.
