Foods to Eat During Sawan

Ayurveda recommends consuming fresh, seasonal fruits like apples, pears, and pomegranates during Sawan. These fruits are hydrating and help maintain energy levels. Vegetables such as bottle gourd, ridge gourd, and pumpkin are ideal as they are light on the stomach and easy to digest. Spices like ginger, turmeric, and cumin can be added to meals to boost digestion and immunity. Warm herbal teas, especially those containing tulsi or mint, are also beneficial for maintaining balance in the body.
