According to interviews conducted with home service workers in Delhi NCR, many platforms provide little to no support during extreme weather events. Only 6% of home service workers reported access to paid leave, and compensation during such events is rare. This lack of support leaves workers vulnerable to income loss and other hardships during the monsoon season.
