The process of cloud seeding involves introducing particles into the atmosphere that act as cloud condensation nuclei. These particles, such as silver iodide, potassium iodide, sodium chloride, or dry ice (solid carbon dioxide), help water vapour in the air condense into droplets, forming clouds. Once the clouds are sufficiently saturated, they release precipitation in the form of rain or snow.
