In Arunachal Pradesh, indigenous communities are leveraging local resources like the Himalayan spice Khagi to generate income. This community-led initiative has benefited over 200 families, generating Rs 39 lakh in revenue. By using native resources sustainably, these communities are also protecting biodiversity and preserving their forests.
