NOAA Deploys Saildrones to Monitor Historic El Niño

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is intensifying its efforts to monitor the ongoing El Niño event, which is expected to become historic.
NOAA has deployed four uncrewed surface vehicles, known as Saildrones, to the Niña 3.4 region in the equatorial Pacific.
