Heavy Rainfall and Thunderstorm Alerts Issued Across India for September 25

• Eastern Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience very heavy rainfall, while western parts of the state may also see significant rain. Bihar, Jharkhand, and parts of West Bengal are likely to witness heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Central India, including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha, is forecasted to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall, with Chhattisgarh also facing strong winds. Odisha and other eastern regions are under weather watch due to a system over the Bay of Bengal. Northeastern states such as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya are also expected to experience heavy rainfall and gusty winds. In southern India, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema are likely to see rain, thunderstorms, and lightning. Maharashtra, including Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada, is also forecasted to experience stormy weather.
