Tornadoes cause damage in Minnesota and Wisconsin
A series of tornadoes recently struck southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, causing considerable damage in the Rochester area. The National Weather Service has confirmed that three tornadoes touched down in Minnesota, with the most powerful being an EF-2 tornado near Stewartville, which reached wind speeds of 130 mph. This tornado traveled approximately 10 miles and had a width of 175 yards. In Wisconsin, an EF-3 tornado was confirmed near Cream, with wind speeds peaking at 140 mph.
