Morocco has experienced its wettest winter in four decades during 2025-2026, with rainfall reaching nearly 1,300 mm in Tangier. This has revitalized agriculture across the country, despite localized flood damage. The Ministry of Agriculture reports that the heavy rains have nearly doubled dam reservoir levels and transformed dry terrain into fertile farmland, anticipating that cereal production will more than double compared to last year.
