Severe weather, including tornadoes and hail, has struck Texas and Oklahoma, causing widespread damage and claiming at least two lives in northern Texas. The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-2 tornado with peak winds of 135 mph in Runaway Bay and an EF-1 tornado in Springtown. These storms have not only resulted in significant property damage and displacement of families but also led to evacuations at public events like the Stagecoach festival.
