As spring's warmth blankets the nation, an unwelcome guest is making its presence known: ticks. Health officials are reporting a notable increase in tick-related hospital visits across the United States as warmer temperatures take hold earlier in the year. Data reveals that between January and March 2026, 131 cases were reported, a significant jump from the 102 cases during the same period in 2025.
