Tornadoes devastate Oklahoma, impacting Vance Air Force Base
On Thursday evening, devastating tornadoes tore through north-central Oklahoma, significantly impacting areas like Vance Air Force Base and Enid. According to KOSU, a substantial tornado remained on the ground for approximately 40 minutes, causing extensive damage, particularly in the Grayridge neighborhood of Enid, where numerous homes were flattened. The Oklahoma Emergency Management agency reported that 40 homes in Garfield County were damaged, with ongoing assessments expected to reveal further impacts.
