Tornadoes and large hail reported in Minnesota
On Monday evening, Southern Minnesota experienced severe storms, marked by multiple tornadoes and large hail. Tornadoes were reported near Amboy and Hartland, with significant hail, including teacup-sized (3 inches) in Steele County and tennis ball-sized (2.5 inches) in Blue Earth County. Emergency managers and trained spotters confirmed these observations. The storms led to numerous severe weather warnings across the region, making it an exceptionally active night for such alerts.
