The Jamaican government has initiated a $50 million project called ADOPT Jamaica, aimed at strengthening the agricultural sector's resilience to climate change. Funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), this six-year project seeks to support approximately 700,000 farmers, initially focusing on assisting 15,000 farmers in its first year.
