Freeze warnings have been issued across a significant portion of the Midwest and East Coast, stretching from Iowa to the Atlantic Ocean. The National Weather Service reports that temperatures in central and eastern Iowa dropped to as low as 26°F (-3°C) overnight, while northern Indiana and southern Michigan experienced temperatures in the mid-20s Fahrenheit.
