Storm Dave brings disruption to northern regions
Storm Dave has brought considerable disruption to northern England, north-west Wales, and southern Scotland. The storm, which arrived on Saturday, featured wind gusts reaching up to 93 mph in Capel Curig, north Wales. Other areas such as Emley Moor in West Yorkshire and St Bees Head in Cumbria reported gusts of 75 mph, while Buchan in Aberdeenshire saw gusts of 73 mph.
