NASA has celebrated the 36th anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope by releasing stunning new images of the Trifid Nebula, situated approximately 5,000 light-years from Earth. These images showcase remarkable changes observed in the nebula since it was first documented in 1997. The most striking feature is a luminous, slug-shaped cloud, sculpted by the powerful stellar winds and intense star birth activity within the nebula.
