Colorado faces historic drought with water restrictions
Colorado is currently facing a historic drought, leading to the implementation of significant water restrictions throughout the state. Recent reports indicate that nearly half of Colorado is experiencing extreme drought conditions, marking the most severe level recorded for April in over 20 years. This crisis is largely attributed to a combination of minimal snowpack and unusually high temperatures, which reached 80°F to 90°F (27°C to 32°C) in March.
