NASA's Artemis II mission is gearing up for its launch, marking a significant milestone as the first crewed lunar mission since Apollo 17 in 1972. Scheduled for Wednesday at 6:24 p.m. EDT from Kennedy Space Center, the mission will send four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the moon. The crew includes commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
