Severe weather, including floods and landslides, has caused 17 deaths and 26 injuries in Afghanistan.
Thirteen provinces, mainly in western, central, and northwestern Afghanistan, have been severely affected.
Extensive damage to homes, roads, agricultural land, and irrigation canals has been reported across affected regions.
Floods, landslides, thunderstorms cause deaths and injuries
Afghanistan has been hit by severe weather, including floods, landslides, and thunderstorms, resulting in 17 deaths and 26 injuries. The National Disaster Management Authority reports that 13 provinces, primarily in the western, central, and northwestern regions, are affected. The extreme weather has destroyed 147 homes and 80 kilometers of roads, causing significant damage to agricultural land and irrigation canals.
