Enid tornado causes damage, no fatalities

The National Weather Service confirmed the event, impacting the city of approximately 50,000 residents near the state's northern border. The storm ripped roofs off buildings, downed power poles, and initially trapped some residents. Emergency responders, including local police, the Enid Fire Department, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, quickly mobilized to provide assistance. Despite the extensive property damage, there were no reported fatalities, and only minor injuries occurred.
