Colorado sees surprising snowfall after warm winter
Colorado experienced a surprising snowfall in April, contrasting with the exceptionally warm and dry winter the state had seen. The National Weather Service recorded varying snow accumulations, ranging from 15 centimeters in Roxborough Park to just under 2.5 centimeters in Littleton. This snowfall was part of a larger weather system that brought welcome moisture to the region, temporarily covering the landscape with a blanket of snow. Although much of the snow began to melt Saturday afternoon, the 24-hour precipitation totals provided insight into the event's impact across the state.
