Hawaii faces extreme flooding risk this week
Hawaii is bracing for significant flooding as atmospheric moisture levels are predicted to be double the typical concentrations for April, increasing the risk of heavy downpours, flooding, and landslides across the islands. Showers have already begun soaking Oahu, with the heaviest rain expected on Friday. Weather models indicate that heavy rain will start over Kauai on Friday morning, move to Oahu in the afternoon, and reach Maui by evening.
