The National Weather Service reported a significant rainfall of 2.43 inches at O'Hare Airport, marking the rainiest April day since 2013. This deluge has led to widespread flooding, with numerous reports of flooded basements and streets. Residents have contacted 3-1-1 with 305 reports of basement flooding and 264 reports of street flooding.
