Southern Connecticut faces freeze warning, temperatures plummeting
A freeze warning is in effect for southern Connecticut, with temperatures forecasted to plummet to around 30°F on Monday night. Northern and inland areas have already seen temperatures in the upper 20s°F, while coastal regions are experiencing temperatures in the mid to upper 30s°F. The National Weather Service has also issued frost advisories for the southern parts of the state, effective until 8 a.m. Monday, with the warnings extending into the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest as far south as North Carolina.
