Blizzard causes major damage, delays course opening
The Cranberry Valley Golf Course in Harwich, Massachusetts, is experiencing significant delays in its opening due to severe damage caused by a February blizzard. The storm resulted in the felling of between 70 and 80 trees, primarily impacting the front nine holes of the municipal golf course. As a result, the opening of the front nine holes has been pushed back to at least April 6, while the back nine holes are scheduled to open on March 30 without golf cart availability.
