According to Dr. Scott Taylor from Riverton Hospital, the mild winter and unusually warm temperatures are responsible for the severity of the season. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America has ranked Provo, Ogden, and Salt Lake City as some of the top 20 allergy capitals in the nation. The early onset of symptoms was noted as early as February, indicating a challenging season. Residents are urged to prepare for increased allergy symptoms and take preventative measures to manage their discomfort effectively.
