Maryland is currently experiencing an unusual period of warmth, with temperatures reaching near-record highs for this time of year. This warm spell, however, is expected to be short-lived as a series of storms are predicted to move into the region. Meteorologist Steve Sosna from WJZ-TV has highlighted that these warm conditions are a precursor to potentially severe weather, including heavy rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms.
