Seattle Pollen Count Highlights Spring Allergies
US · Published May 11, 2026
As spring arrives in Seattle, pollen levels are being closely monitored to assist residents with allergies.
The Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center provides daily pollen counts for the Seattle area, certified by the National Allergy Bureau (NAB).
Two machines, a Burkard and a Rotorod, are used to collect and report pollen data.

Why It's Important?

Seattle residents with pollen allergies may experience heightened symptoms during spring due to increased pollen levels. The data provided by the Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center aims to help individuals identify high-risk days and take precautions to minimize exposure. Without proper management, allergy sufferers could face discomfort, including sneezing, congestion, and other respiratory issues.
