• The National Hurricane Center (NHC) has released its Atlantic 2-Day Graphical Tropical Weather Outlook, which provides updates on active tropical cyclones and disturbances with potential for cyclone formation over the next 48 hours. This product is updated four times daily at 2 AM, 8 AM, 2 PM, and 8 PM EDT during the Atlantic hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to November
• The graphical interface allows users to view details of each system by hovering over or clicking on symbols representing disturbances or cyclones. Special updates are issued as conditions warrant.

Why It's Important?

The outlook highlights areas of potential tropical cyclone formation, which could pose risks to coastal regions and maritime activities if development occurs. Residents in hurricane-prone areas should remain alert to updates and advisories from the NHC, as disturbances can evolve into cyclones with significant impacts, including flooding, high winds, and storm surges.
