The approaching cyclonic storm poses risks of heavy rainfall and rough sea conditions along the Andhra Pradesh coast. Winds of 30-40 kmph, with gusts up to 50 kmph, are likely to affect coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema until November 1. The IMD has also forecast significant rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, and Mahe, which may lead to localised flooding and disruption to daily activities. Infrastructure and crops in Andhra Pradesh, already impacted by Cyclone Arnab, may face further damage.
