Impact & Risks

The tropical depression in the Bay of Bengal may pose risks to the Indian coastline as it intensifies. Heavy rainfall in southern Thailand could lead to flash floods, overflows, and landslides, particularly in vulnerable areas. Coastal regions in Thailand may experience rough seas with wave heights exceeding 2 metres during thundershowers, posing risks to marine activities. The movement of the depression towards India could bring adverse weather conditions to eastern coastal states.
