India dispatches 11 tonnes of relief supplies to flood-stricken Nepal
• India has sent an additional 11 tonnes of relief materials to Nepal as the country continues to grapple with the aftermath of severe floods and landslides. The consignment includes medicines, forensic supplies, tents, hygiene kits, and sleeping bags. This is part of India's ongoing humanitarian assistance, which began on 26 August
• According to Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), the death toll has reached 1,410, with 6,055 people still missing. Over 13,756 individuals have been rescued, and 9,984 have received medical treatment. Helicopter operations and ground teams are actively engaged in search and rescue missions across affected districts, including Chitwan, Nawalparasi East, and Rasuwa.
