• Uttarakhand is expected to experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many locations, with isolated heavy rainfall likely in Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. Delhi-NCR is forecasted to remain warm with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies, and limited rain activity is expected. Bihar may see scattered to widespread rain and thunderstorms, with a heavy rainfall warning issued. Odisha is under an orange warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas, while other districts are under a yellow warning. Himachal Pradesh may experience cloudy weather with localised showers, and Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab are expected to remain mostly warm and dry.

Impact & Risks

Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Odisha may lead to localised flooding, waterlogging, and disruptions in daily activities. Thunderstorms and lightning pose risks to outdoor activities, particularly in Bihar and Odisha. Residents in affected areas should remain cautious of potential hazards such as slippery roads and reduced visibility. Warm and dry conditions in Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab may increase discomfort due to heat.
