Impact & Risks

Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand and southern states could lead to localised flooding, waterlogging, and disruptions in daily activities. Thunderstorms with lightning and winds pose risks to life and property, particularly in open areas. In Delhi, the cooler temperatures may provide relief from recent heat, but no significant weather-related risks are anticipated. Regions in eastern and northeastern India experiencing scattered rainfall may face minor disruptions, especially in low-lying areas. Strong surface winds in Andhra Pradesh could impact outdoor activities and infrastructure.
