Rajasthan Celebrates First International MSME Day with Landmark Policy Launch

On June 27, 2026, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the state's first official celebration of International MSME Day in Jaipur. During the event, the Chief Minister unveiled the Rajasthan Industrial Development Policy, aimed at transforming the state into a global manufacturing hub with a target of achieving a USD 350 billion economy by 2028-
Additionally, a financial package exceeding Rs 13 crore was announced to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), traditional handicrafts, startups, and electronics manufacturing. The event also saw the launch of the World Bank-assisted RAMP Portal to digitize compliance and improve market access.
