• Mary’s River at Macclenny, affecting Nassau and Baker counties in Florida, as well as Charlton County in Georgia.

Impact & Risks

Minor flooding is expected along the St. Mary’s River, with water levels potentially reaching 14.0 feet by Tuesday evening. At 12.0 feet, low-lying areas and timberlands, including properties along St. Mary’s River Bluff Road and the Cypress Landing Resort in Georgia, may experience minor flooding. At 14.0 feet, flooding could impact bottomlands and lower access roads, cutting off access to 15–20 homes on the Georgia side. If water levels rise to 16.0 feet, access roads on both sides of the river in Florida and Georgia, including St. Mary’s River Bluff Road and St. Mary’s Cove Road, may become impassable, isolating 60–80 homes. The Stokes Road Bridge over the river is also likely to close due to high water levels.
