A secondary flood threat emerged when a debris-formed lake near the Nepal-China border began overflowing, temporarily halting rescue efforts. The disaster has also affected Indian nationals, with 320 still uncontactable. However, 400 Indians on the Tibetan side have been confirmed safe, and 96 others have crossed into Nepal. The situation remains critical, with the risk of further flooding and challenges in reaching stranded individuals.
