The flash flood has caused significant damage to infrastructure, including the hydroelectric project and a footbridge, leading to panic among local residents. Additionally, blocked roads and disrupted water and power supply have affected daily life in several districts, including Mandi, Shimla, Kullu, and Kangra. The damage to critical infrastructure such as drinking water supply schemes and transformers poses challenges for restoration efforts. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
