• An 800-acre wildfire, named the November Fire, is burning in San Diego County near Camp Pendleton, causing significant smoke drift into Southwest Riverside County, including Temecula. The fire began around 10 a.m. on June 10, 2026, in the southern part of the military base, a few miles northeast of Interstate
• By 1:30 p.m., smoke had reached the Temecula area, turning skies ashy and sepia-toned. The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District and South Coast Air Quality Management District have issued a smoke advisory for affected areas, including Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Bonsall, and Fallbrook. Winds from the southwest are expected to continue pushing smoke into the region through the evening.
