• The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued Yellow Alerts for multiple districts in Kerala over the next five days, forecasting isolated heavy rainfall. Rainfall amounts are expected to range between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm within a 24-hour period. The affected districts include Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod on October
• On October 6, the alert extends to Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad. By October 9, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam are expected to experience heavy rainfall. The IMD has urged residents to stay alert as the state braces for widespread precipitation.
