Current Phase of Monsoon Withdrawal

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the southwest monsoon withdrawal line recently extended from Gurdaspur through Chandigarh, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Dholpur, Udaipur, Deesa, and Naliya. Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and the Himalayan states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. This marks a significant shift towards the post-monsoon season.
