Kunchikal Falls in Karnataka is the highest waterfall in India, with a staggering height of 1,493 feet (455 metres). Formed by the Varahi River in the Western Ghats, it is a tiered waterfall that is particularly breathtaking during the monsoon season. Nohkalikai Falls in Meghalaya, at 1,115 feet (340 metres), is another remarkable waterfall, located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.
