• The adverse weather conditions caused significant damage to key trekking paths, including Gangotri-Gaumukh-Tapovan, Gartang Gali, and Kedartal. Repair work is currently underway, and the park is expected to reopen within two to three days. In the meantime, trekking permits have been cancelled, and forest department officials are monitoring entry points and check posts.
